The leading European online travel company with 10 years of experience is called eDreams. The online travel service portal has its headquarters based in Barcelona, Spain and Italy which was founded back in 1999. The services offered can be found at their website, with its CEO and founder, Javier-Perez-Tenessa de Block and co-founder, James Hare who is also the Managing Director.


Formed in March 1999, the company’s financial support came from a group of European and American investment and private equity companies; Doll Capital Management, APAX Partners, Atlas Venture and 3i Group). In November 2006, eDreams was purchased by the management and TA Associates. Businesses was then launched in Spain and Italy in 2000 making eDreams one of the top ten European businesses in the Business to Consumer (B2C) sector, four months after its launch. It was also ranked 26 out of the 100 top performing e-commerce companies in Europe.
